Water Safety Training – More information:

We are proud to offer the Starfish Aquatics Water Safety Program.  This class covers a variety of topics to provide the participant the knowledge to safely supervise children and adults around the water.  The focus of the class is on drowning prevention and proper supervision around the water as most child drownings occur in shallow water.  This is not a lifeguard class.  The purpose of this class is to keep the lifeguard at their post.  Our instructors do not just take a train-the-trainer course.  In addition to being current firefighters who have responded to numerous water emergencies, Instructor Mike is an 8-year veteran of the Coast Guard, Instructor Aidan is a Swiftwater Rescue instructor who also travels the State to train first responders in Water Rescue, and our Instructor Jerry is the Program Coordinator and a 20 year Fire Officer.

Basic Water Safety classes will be offered via ZOOM with a live lecture/demonstration class.

BASIC WATER SAFETY This is a seasonal class.  Basic Water Safety certification is $25 and the participant will receive a two-year certification.  calendar/registration page.
